Special Instructions
PSA levels can naturally increase with age. Elevated results do not always indicate prostate cancer — they can also be affected by prostatitis, an enlarged prostate, urinary infections, recent sexual activity, vigorous exercise, or certain medications. If you have any concerns about your health or test results, please consult your GP or a qualified healthcare provider.
Collect your sample between Monday and Thursday (Royal Mail) or Monday and Wednesday (An Post).
Return it the same day using the prepaid return envelope, ideally before noon.
Avoid taking your sample on or near a public holiday, as postal delays may affect accuracy.
